Instalando a Avant Window Navigator no Linux Mint 8

Olá,nesse tutorial vou ensinar como instalar a Avant Window Navigator no Linux Mint 8.

1-Vá no Menu-Gerenciador de Pacotes

2-Na caixa de pesquisa digite “avant-window-navigator” sem aspas

3-Clique na caixa de seleção e na opção Mark for Installation,confirme e clique em Apply.

4-Aguarde o download dos pacotes e o sistema concluir a instalação,feito isso, clique em “close”.

5-Agora vá no Menu-Aplicativos-Acessórios e clique em Avant Window Navigator

6-A dock aparecerá na parte inferior do seu Desktop!

7-Para configurar,basta ir na opção “Gestor do AWN” e na aba general configurar a dock ao seu estilo

Adicionando Applet Stacks na Avant Window Navigator

1-Clique em Preferências no Avant Window Navigator, menu Applets e em Available Applets selecione Stacks Applet, clique em Ativar e Fechar!

2-Agora, clique com o botão direito do mouse sobre o ícone stacks criado na barra do awn e clique em Preferências.

3-Na guia Backend selecione Folder Backend,nessa opção você pode criar uma pasta qualquer e colocar alguns lançadores dentro,feito isso basta clicar em Abrir e criar um link para pasta que você criou!

4-Depois clique em Stack Layout,em Layout selecione Curved Gui, em General você define o tamanho dos ícones,isso fica a sua escolha!

5-Clique em Aplicar e Divirta-se!

O que é o Google Friend Connect?

É uma aplicação web que permite a adicionar recursos de redes sociais diretamente a um site ou blog qualquer.

A primeira versão do Google Friend Connect foi apresentada oficialmente ao público em dezembro de 2008^.Através deste recurso, um usuário usando uma conta Google, Yahoo! ou OpenID, pode interagir com outros visitantes do site ou de sua própria rede social, compartilhando recursos, arquivos ou aplicações OpenSocial.

Para que serve?

Com o Google Friend Connect, qualquer dono de site pode adicionar funcionalidades sociais em seu site sem precisar programar uma linha sequer de código. Funções estas que podem ser registro, convites, galeria de membros, envio de mensagens, reviews, e o mais legal de tudo – adição de aplicativos OpenSocial de terceiros.

O que o Google está fazendo é basicamente tornar mais fácil a nossa inclusão na “web social” criando um padrão para as suas funcionalidades. Esses padrões dizem respeito a uma junção entre identidade (OpenID), controle de permissão de dados (OAuth) e aplicativos sociais (OpenSocial) que são os alicerces de uma rede OpenSocial. Google Friend Connect é uma maneira de fazer com que esses novos padrões sejam mais acessíveis para os donos de site que não tem tempo para programar, não sabem programar, ou não possuem desenvolvedores disponíveis no momento.

Acesse a página do Google Friend Connect e clique em Iniciar

Faça login

Nessa tela clique em Google Friend Connect para sites padrão

Clique em Continuar e na tela seguinte preencha os campos com Nome do site,URL da Página inicial e Idioma do site e clique em continuar.

A seguir (Clique em download para baixar os arquivos) e faça upload dos arquivos canvas.html e rpc_relay.html para o diretório root (raiz) do seu blog (Utilize um cliente ftp,ex:FileZilla).Clique em Continuar.

Feito o upload dos arquivos,agora clique no botão Testar para Finalizar a Configuração.Se estiver tudo ok,você será direcionado a próxima tela.Clique agora em Obtenha um código para o gadget de membros

Agora vamos configurar o Gadget de membros

1-Escolha o tamanho do gadget

2-Escolha as cores e a fonte

3-Clique em Gerar Código

4-Copie todo código e vá até o painel de administração do seu Blog Wordpress.

No seu admin do Wordpress vá em Appearence -> Widgets se está usando wordpress 2.7. ou superior.Se está usando uma versão inferior, vá em Design -> Widgets.

Crie um widget de texto, dê a ele um nome e cole o código HTML  que você copiou.

Se você seguiu todos os passos,estará com o Google Friend Connect em seu blog.

Você pode também adicionar outros gadgets do Friend Connect.O procedimento é o mesmo que foi usado para a instalação do “Gadget de Membros”. Basta clicar em Gadgets Sociais-Todos os Gadgets e escolher.

Cairo-Clock no Ubuntu (relógio na área de trabalho)

Vá no terminal e digite:

sudo apt-get install cairo-clock

Com este comando o Cairo-Clock será instalado no seu Ubuntu.Agora navegue até Aplicações/ Acessórios / MacSlow’s Cairo-Clock e clique no lançador.

Para iniciá-lo junto com o sistema, vá no menu Sistemas -> Preferências -> Sessões e clique em adicionar. No campo comando, apenas digite cairo-clock

O Cairo já vem com diversos temas instalados,porém existem muitos outros temas que valem a pena ser testados.

Temas para o Cairo-Clock no Gnome-Look

Para instalar novos temas, acesse o diretório “~/.cairo-clock/themes”. Se  essa pasta não existir, crie-a e logo após coloque os temas novos dentro dela. O Cairo faz a verificação toda vez que é inicializado.

ou

Faça o download do arquivo no seu desktop e clique com o botão direito do mouse em cima do arquivo e vá em “Extrair Aqui”. Depois de extrair os arquivos abra o terminal e digite:

sudo mv /home/<usuario>/Desktop/<filename> /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes

(substitua <usuario> pelo nome de usuário utilizado no seu ubuntu e <filename> pelo nome da pasta onde foram extraidos os arquivos)

Para aplicar os temas basta executar o Cairo-Clock e clikar com o direito do mouse em Propriedades

Adicionando Applet Stacks na Avant Window Navigator no Ubuntu

Veja a Screen abaixo:

No Avant Window Navigator temos a opção de adicionar vários applets,um deles é o Stacks, que é responsável por dar o efeito mostrado na screen a sua dock!

O problema é,para quem fez a instalação do Avant Window Navigator a partir dos repositórios oficiais do Ubuntu,não terá applets disponíveis,pois o pacote de applets não está contido nos repositórios oficiais.

Então temos que adicionar esses pacotes aos repositórios!

Menu Sistema -> Administração -> Gerenciador de Pacotes Synaptic;

Após carregamento do Synaptic, ir no menu Configurações -> Repositórios -> Aba Programas de Terceiros;

Clique no botão <Adicionar>. Na caixa de diálogo aberta, coloque a seguinte linha:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/awn-testing/ubuntu hardy main

Feche a caixa de diálogo, retorne ao Synaptic e clique no botão <Recarregar>;

Então selecione avant-window-navigator-trunk, awn-manager-trunk, e awn-extras-applets-trunk (as dependências são automaticamente instaladas).

Clique em Aplicar e aguarde o download!

Agora clique em Preferências no Avant Window Navigator, menu Applets e em Available Applets selecione Stacks Applet, clique em Ativar e Fechar!

Agora, clique com o botão direito do mouse sobre o ícone stacks criado na barra do awn e clique em Preferências.

Na guia Backend selecione Folder Backend,nessa opção você pode criar uma pasta qualquer e colocar alguns lançadores dentro,feito isso basta clicar em Abrir e criar um link para pasta que você criou!

Depois clique em Stack Layout,em Layout selecione Curved Gui, em General você define o tamanho dos ícones,isso fica a sua escolha!

Clique em Aplicar e Divirta-se!
